New in Reporting: AI formula magic, enhanced budget insights, and more!

As always, our Reporting team has been working away at updates both large and small. There’s a lot to cover this month, so let’s dive right in.

  • AI Formula Assistant

    • Tell me if this sounds familiar: a client asks for something complex for you to report on, so off you go into Google or ChatGPT trying to figure out how to structure the formula. Not anymore! Now you have AI directly inside the Formula Builder, ready to generate formulas based on your specific needs.

    Blog post image

    • Simply describe what you want in plain language and TeamworkAI will generate the formula from there.

    • Not only that, but AI Formula Assistant can also:

      • Help fix formulas that aren’t working

        • You'll see a "Fix with AI" option when a formula fails validation (you may be prompted to provide additional context)

      • Request more information if there isn’t enough detail to generate a suitable formula

      • Suggest corrections when there are validation errors

      • Provide ready-to-use recommendations

Once TeamworkAI suggests a formula, you can apply it directly and immediately see that it’s valid and ready to go. And to think you've barely had to lift a finger!

  • Custom Report updates

    • We’ve introduced new editing options throughout Custom Reports that help you save time, including:

      • A handy column picker

      • The ability to toggle columns on/off or reorder them directly from the report

      • Easier access to the Formula Builder for Scale users, and visibility into Scale-only columns for Grow users

      Blog post image

    • Plus, you can now report on up to 3 years’ worth of data with Custom Reports, an increase from 2 years previously.

    • And for users of Advanced Reports, you can now group by up to five different data points.

  • Budget Insight Reports additions

    • We’ve added some nice additions to the newly released Budget Insights Report that minimize clicks and ensure you have the info you need about your budgets right at your fingertips.

    Blog post image

    • First, with the new option to expand rows, you can get right down to task list budget insights fast with less clicking around.

    • Next up, we've added a new filter for Budget usage, so you can quickly find budgets that are over or under selected thresholds.

    • Finally, we’ve updated the budget popover to include details on the budget duration so you know exactly what you’re working with.

See public holidays right within your timesheets

A quick update for those of you know and love our Time Off feature: no more chasing time on public holidays when time isn’t supposed to be logged in the first place! Now, Time Off appears automatically on My Timesheet and Company Timesheet, helping you understand why hours weren’t logged on a given day.

That means more accurate time tracking, cleaner weekly reviews, and instant clarity for logged hours that are automatically contextualized with this enhancement.
