The opportunity

Teamwork.com is narrowing its go-to-market from broad-market marketing to a focused bet on specific segments. Product, positioning, and GTM motion are being rebuilt around these segments.

We're hiring a senior verticals product marketing manager to join the Product & Customer Marketing team and drive this pivot commercially: defining who the buyer is, mapping their journey, and building the GTM motion for mid-market digital marketing agencies. Alongside this, you'll own product marketing for some strategic product domains that matter most to this segment.

This is a new role, and it's yours to define, not inherit. You'll operate through influence, not authority, working daily alongside sales, content, revenue marketing, and product. You'll need to be equally comfortable as a strategist and a builder on the same day, and to use AI actively to compress research cycles, speed up positioning and content drafts, and turn segment data into reporting at pace.

This role treats segment and product marketing as a commercial driver, not a product launch function.

Key Responsibilities

Segment Strategy & ICP Ownership

Bring a GM's mindset to building and executing go-to-market strategy for your segments or product domains. Define the buyer persona and journey, and partner with sales, product, and revenue marketing to build a credible path to market share growth and adoption in the segment.

Solutions Positioning & Messaging

Own the end-to-end solutions narrative for your segment/domain translating Teamwork.com's capabilities into stories that resonate with buyers and customers, defining the competitive position, and building the messaging framework that GTM teams use as their source of truth. Act as the connective tissue that keeps messaging consistent across sales, marketing, and product

GTM execution & commercial accountability

Set and report against segment pipeline contribution & product domain pipeline and adoption goals as  commercial metrics. Design and activate programmes in partnership with sales, content, and revenue marketing, and report progress against pipeline and revenue targets on a regular basis. You are not solely responsible for hitting the revenue number (that depends on sales execution, pricing, and product), but you own building the reporting and the programmes that connect marketing activity to it.

Enablement

Build and maintain the playbooks, assets and frameworks that marketing and customer facing teams actively use in live deals and run regular enablement sessions.

Requirements

Must-haves

  • Significant B2B SaaS marketing experience, including ownership of a segment, vertical, solution or comparable GTM motion from insight through execution and measurement.
  • Proven ownership from strategy through to pipeline reporting
  • Experience working directly with sales: running enablement, iterating on plays based on what's actually landing in deals.
  • Data-literate: comfortable setting a baseline, defining what matters, and reporting against it without hand-holding.
  • Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on in the same day

Strong differentiators

  • A track record of researching and interviewing B2B buyers directly, and turning that research into positioning that changed how a company went to market, not just a deck that sat on a shelf.
  • Experience working in or marketing to mid market PR, marketing and digital agencies
  • A background spanning both segment/vertical marketing and product marketing.

You might not be right for this if…

  • You've only worked in large, established segment functions, and the ambiguity of building a discipline from scratch, would frustrate rather than excite you.
  • Your definition of owning a segment stops at the strategy deck, not what happens in pipeline.

What good looks like

What Good Looks Like in 12 Months

  • Teamwork.com has established itself as a PSA market leader within your segment.
  • Strong messaging is live in market that is resonating with a clearly defined ICP
  • Sales, marketing and the wider organization are clearly articulating our value as one
  • Segment ARR has grown and you can tie it back to key programmes that you launched. It is also expected that you will have an understanding at this point of what does not work.
  • You've changed how the team works with AI in concrete, provable ways, for example: buyer research synthesis that used to take a week now takes a day; competitive positioning refreshes that took days now take hours; segment reporting that was manual and monthly is now near-real-time.
