The opportunity

As the Manager of Business Expansion, you will be responsible for:

  • Deliver expansion revenue against monthly business targets within the team’s assigned book of business
  • In partnership with Sales Leadership, defining the account management team’s strategy, optimizing processes, and building resources and tools for account managers to upsell and cross-sell their book of business
  • Onboarding, developing, and leading a team of revenue-generating account managers through coaching, training, on the job support; driving talent acquisition, promotions, and retaining top performers
  • Identifying & providing data-driven insights, reports, and recommendations based on your team's customer conversations and being knowledgeable on the key trends/themes driving your client base to expand and the steps being taken to address them
  • Building a culture of cross-collaboration and best practice sharing in New Business and across the organization

What good looks like

  • Experience leading a sales team
  • Experience as a quota-carrying B2B account manager 
  • Ability to build strong business partnerships both outside and within the organization
  • Proven ability to train, coach, mentor, and motivate individuals and teams 
  • Ability to use data and insights to monitor, track, and improve the team’s performance.
  • Ability to manage multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities
  • Clear communication across various mediums (e-mail, phone, video, etc.)
  • Experience in a SaaS environment is considered an asset

What you can expect

This team will be operating in a hybrid model out of Denver, Colorado with 1-3 days per week in an office setting.
