The opportunity

As the Director of Sales, Europe & International we are looking for a passionate sales leader with a strong background in higher velocity SaaS sales.  Teamwork needs someone who is excited by the challenge to build a strong European team. Half of our customers are based in this market, and there is strong inbound demand from prospective customers!  You will report directly to the VP of Worldwide Sales who is currently based in Europe. He is looking for a right-hand person to build the team, drive performance, lead the culture, and win this market.

  • We run an inbound-driven sales function with SDRs qualifying opportunities and Account Executives working with prospects to close.  You will be tasked with managing a team of new business and expansion sellers to lead this market.
  • We also employ a book-of-business model to drive account management and expansion into our installed customer base.  You will be responsible for leading and working with the manager and team that expands our customers.
  • Your role is split into two parts.  You will have direct sales management responsibility over part of the team to coach reps and drive closed revenue.  Additionally, you will lead a manager that runs another team.
  • Our sales enablement and training team works with you to onboard and train reps, but you are the key leader responsible for success in the market.
  • You will be responsible for crushing this market. 

What good looks like

  • Strong understanding of sales best practices and ability to teach sales people how to become successful in higher velocity sales
  • You lead from the front and set the example with your team on skill, process and of course urgency. You have a hunger for learning the product and customer.
  • People follow you because you are a coach, teacher and leader that makes people better.
  • Someone with strong product demo experience is a must.
  • You are comfortable taking control of a situation and making things work.  
  • You take your team’s performance personally and work fast to close any gaps that prevent your team from achieving optimum performance. You hold your team accountable for performance but also champion their efforts across the company.
  • Comfortable with project management across multiple teams and work streams
  • Strong understanding and usage of data to drive performance measurement with your team
  • Excellent written and presentation skills; extremely detail-oriented and the ability to handle ambiguity and present ideas and results to an executive team
