The opportunity

The Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for the flawless administration of our marketing automation platform. You will act as the team’s marketing automation expert, executing automated programs, monitoring our lead scoring, and collaborating across the entire team to improve campaign effectiveness. This is a hands-on role that allows you to pivot between campaign delivery and marketing automation governance. You will have the opportunity to directly influence revenue through effective tracking and campaign execution.

 Some of the key responsibilities of the role are: 

  • Own the administration of our marketing automation instance, including assets, governance and be the support contact
  • Audit our current marketing automation set up and make recommendations for improvements
  • Build, QA, and launch automated email campaigns including workflows and operational programs
  • Create database queries to build lists and segments
  • Own operational projects such as database cleanups, email template revamps, and a subscription center relaunch
  • Implement and maintain marketing attribution tracking, lead scoring, and lead routing in partnership with Marketing stakeholders
  • Partner with the Lifecycle marketing team to optimize our email programs
  • Partner with the Marketing Technology Architect to ensure the marketing automation tool is integrated correctly with other internal systems
  • Partner with the Marketing Analyst to build and maintain global email reports and dashboards and support revenue attribution 
  • Own the marketing tech stack, making recommendations for improvements and optimizations
  • Partner with the Marketing Rev Ops team, marketing stakeholders, and other teams to evaluate, select and implement new marketing technologies
  • Support the ecommend alternate marketing technologies
  • Ensure all assets are GDPR complaint

What good looks like

  • 5+ years experience in a marketing operations role
  • Prior experience implementing and updating lead scoring within a marketing automation system
  • Deep experience with Marketo, Hubspot, or other similar systems
  • Experience with marketing tools like GotoWebinar, Google Analytics, and Sprout Social
  • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with SaaS marketing concepts, terminology, and approaches is a big plus
