The last quarter has seen some exciting developments with Teamwork Spaces. Now, you have the ability to create content without having to start from scratch with our new Template Gallery; you can easily share and collaborate on content with clients and stakeholders using our new Public Page Share feature; and you also have the ability to export a space as a PDF. And that’s not all — you’ll find a new Timeline Widget enabling you to view the progress of a project neatly within a page and we’ve introduced Reactions to all pages for when you just want to leave a quick response.
Read on to learn more about some of the key features we’ve recently released.
Template Gallery
A few months ago, we released Page Templates, enabling you to create your own custom templates that you can use again and again, so you can automate processes, save time on setup and maintain structure within your spaces.
Now, we’ve taken this to the next level by creating an array of pre-made templates that you can find in our new ‘Template Gallery’. From EOS L10s to Meeting Minutes, Client Proposals to Project Planning, and everything in between, you can generate your content from our predefined templates, ensuring you’re covering everything you need to (and saving time in the process).
Simply Select Use a Template from your new space page, click on Template Gallery, and select the template that you want to use.
We know how important it is to be able to share certain information with clients and stakeholders. That’s why we’ve introduced two new features that are ideal for helping you to share and collaborate with people outside of your organization.
Public Page Share
The Public Page Share feature allows you to share content with external collaborators. We know that many of you frequently need to work on documentation with clients — but that in the process, iterations of the work can get lost. With Public Page Share, your clients are able to comment on the live documents, allowing you to get crucial stakeholder feedback while still ensuring that you are in control of your documentation and information is kept up to date. This is even more valuable today, when in person meetings are limited and remote, asynchronous working is more common than ever.
To create a public link to your page, select the Use a shareable link option by selecting Share on the top right of a published page. The link sharing field will be updated with a public URL of the page, and you’ll have the option to copy the link. You can also send email invites to the individual people you want to share your page with, and they’ll receive a personal link to access the page.
PDF Export
We’ve also added the ability to export the content of an entire space as a PDF. This means you can share your important documents, SOPs, project history, and more with clients and stakeholders, whether it is on an ongoing basis, to review at a point in time, or to archive at the end of a project this enables you to keep the lines of communication open and transparent.
To export a space, go to the Options area, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Request PDF export button to start the export process.
Reactions
Sometimes a picture says a thousand words. That’s why we’ve added Reactions!
Similar to Teamwork Chat, you can now choose from a selection of popular emoji in Teamwork Spaces to react to content.
Use reactions to get your team’s sentiment and feedback on your content, whether that’s on pages, page comments or inline comments. Reactions allow you to acknowledge or gauge responses without the need for everyone to leave unnecessary comments.
Timeline widget
Have you ever wanted to see the progress of a project neatly within a Timeline widget? Well now you can!
Simply create timelines directly within your pages to coordinate work or track and assign to-dos from meetings, allowing you and your team to view the progress and expected delivery times in a highly visual way, right within the space.
Webhooks
Wondering what a webhook is? Webhooks allow you to build or set up integrations with Teamwork Spaces by subscribing to certain events. These events could be triggered by the actions of anyone in the organization. When one of these events is triggered, we’ll send a request to an URL you provide.
You can use these webhooks to build integrations, generate reports, back up data, and more.
Admins can create and manage your webhooks via site settings in your Teamwork Spaces account. Click your profile icon in the top right of your site and select Settings from the dropdown menu.
To learn more about Webhooks, see our help doc here.
