The Teamwork Chat team has barely seen the light of day this month. They have been working incredibly hard to make sure they have something special for you guys this month, and trust me they haven’t disappointed.
Along with an array of bug fixes and small improvements, October 2015 boosts the era of the fastest and most intuitive Teamwork Chat ever.

Conversations

  • When launching Teamwork Chat, switching sidebar tabs, or scrolling down, you’ll now see that conversations are loaded on demand, making the app lightning fast and easier for you to navigate.
  • In the previous version of Teamwork Chat, we used to open up showing the last conversation you were in. When you launch the app, now it brings you to the most recent conversation, because we all know that this morning’s message are probably more pressing than last night’s. We’ve got you covered!

@ Mentions

  • If you’re like us and have two Adrian’s, three Peter’s, and multiple Michael’s, you’ll know that not everyone can pull off a nickname. Do you keep @mentioning the wrong Peter? We feel your pain! The new and improved @mention autocompleter will show results if you type a person’s name, not only their username. As well as that, each person’s full name is shown in your search results. So you’ll never mix anyone up again. Woohoo!

Even more cool stuff

  • You can now turn off sound notifications! Take a look at this video to see how.

  • When you sign in to the desktop app, the Teamwork Chat window will resize relative to your screen size. No more adjusting your window to make sure it’s just the right size, you can jump straight into your messages!
  • If an avatar fails to load for some strange reason, we’ll show the first letter of the person’s name in its place.
  • I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but the sidebar settings section is a whole lot prettier. 😉
  • We’ve also added a link to get support or give feedback in the fatal error screen, making it even easier to get in touch with us in a time of need.

As you can see, it’s been a pretty big month for the Teamwork Chat team. So busy in fact, that we’ve decided we need to expand the team! If you want to a chance to become a prestigious Teamwork Chat developer, apply here and may the odds be ever in your favor.
As always, if you have any questions or feedback on anything we’ve mentioned here feel free to contact us at support@teamwork.com or simply comment below.
