The Teamwork Chat team has cooked up some pretty nice fixes and improvements this month. We’ve made things faster, more reliable and better than ever. Along with some minor improvements and fixes, here are this month’s updates.

Features & Improvements

Faster than ever

Speed bodes well with us here at Teamwork.com. We’re obsessed with making our software the fastest out there. So, say goodbye to slow loading times. The latest versions of our app and web app are faster than ever.

Disable e-mail notifications

When you’re offline from Teamwork Chat, we used to send you an e-mail notification of direct conversations or conversations you were mentioned in. We’ve made it possible for you to switch your e-mail notifications on and off. If you’re the kind of person who wants an e-mail notification, then we’ve got you covered. If you’d prefer zero e-mails, then you can have that too! Here’s how:

Sidebar navigation

Clicking on the sidebar menu button of the current sidebar will scroll the back up to the top conversation. Don’t get lost looking for conversations. Just press the icons on the top of the app and you’re right back to the top of the list. It’s simple, but we think you’ll love it!

Updated installer

We’ve updated the installer so that uninstalling now completely removes all created files and folders. Note: this will only work for users who install from the current version on. If you installed an older version and updated to this version, you will still have to manually delete files after uninstall.

Administrators can manage settings

It makes sense for the boss to be able to add people to rooms, so we’ve made it so that Administrators can now manage settings and users in rooms they did not create.

Upload images preview

Uploaded image previews now work in Edge, Internet Explorer, and Firefox browsers.

Fixes

Sending lots of messages fix

Sometimes when you sent a lot of messages quickly to someone you’ve never spoken to, the app would lock. But not anymore! You can now send the new guy all the gifs you want without any resistance from us.

Queued messages fix

Some conversations used to queue messages instead of sending them. But we’ve fixed it. Hurray.
As you can see it’s been a busy month for the Teamwork Chat team. We hope you enjoy all the extra little bits this month. If you have any questions about any of the above features, fixes and improvements simply comment below or drop us a line at support@teamwork.com.
