This month, you may have noticed you had to set up your connection to Quickbooks again. We have completely rewritten our integration with intuit to work better with the latest version of their accountancy app.  Having this done will now allow us to make greater improvements, much faster in the future. For now, the integration works in the same way as it did before but setting it up is quicker and easier.

Setting up the connection

First, navigate to the billing section and choose an invoice you’d like to export. Click the “export invoice” link at the bottom of the invoice.

Next, choose “Export to QuickBooks online” and click the export button. This option will be remembered. On the next screen click the “Connect to Quickbooks” button

A window will pop up and ask you to sign in to Quickbooks. Enter your login details and click sign in. You will then be asked to authorize teamwork to access your companies data. Click Authorize.

The window should then close and a list of customers will load. You will then choose a customer to export the invoice to and click export. Once the invoice is created you should see a message confirming the action.
