Doing things easily and doing them fast is something we are always striving towards here at Teamwork.com. While we now have a lot of advanced features, we still want the key things that you do each day to be as quick and intuitive possible.
Firstly quickly add time to any project no matter what you are doing in your TeamworkPM account. You can access the Quick Add menu by pressing ‘Q’ on your keyboard or you can click on the menu in the top right.

Select Log time, pick the project you wish to save the time to, if you are in a project it will default to that one. Enter the description of the work done, and then enter the amount of time you wish to log.

You can enter time as either decimals (1.5 hours) or in hours:minutes (e.g. 1:30). We know they both mean one and a half hours. If you wish you can include a start time or we can calculate the start time based on the time of day and the time to be logged.
You also have the option to mark the time as billable as well as pick a different date if logging hours for work already completed.

Secondly, we’ve added the option to quick add a new message, again from anywhere in the app.

Using the quick add function within a project will add a message to that particular project, If you are outside of a project you can select the relevant project you wish to add the message to.

Once you have the project selected you will be presented with the normal message formatting, privacy and notification options.
