In recent weeks you’ve requested improvements in how you search for and add users to Projects. For comparison here’s a screen shot of the process before the update. Just displaying a list of names and emails wasn’t all that intuitive and a little cumbersome.

So this month we have improved the process and added some new features to make both searching and adding users to projects much faster and easier.
Here is a short list of new features:

  • new user interface with user’s cards and icons
  • new search filter and/or to improve user’s search
  • new style for select buttons and new hide/show users already in the project option
  • new Add people option visible in the project’s overview cog (for Administrators and Project Administrators)

This is how the new interface looks now:

You should notice that users already in the project are faded out so you can just select who is not in the project, there is also a new hide or show button that helps you display only users not in the project so it’s easier select who you really want to add. If you want to improve the search you can user a new filter and/or  that help you to search users in different companies:

We also added a quick link Add people in the project’s overview cog that will pop up the lightbox to add people to the project saving the time to go to the people in the project page and then click the button:
